Lanka India Oil Company currently the only supplier of fuel to Sri Lanka has been advised to discontinue supplies its’ fuel sheds tomorrow. LIOC Managing Director Manoj Guptha tweeted that in view of planned protest they have been advised to discontinue our supply operations to sheds with immediate effect for today & tomorrow .
The Managing Director further said that we shall continue our supplies from Trincomalee to CPC & to our valued industries uninterruptedly. He also hopes to resume supplies to sheds with effect from Sunday early hrs.
