Starting today (July 01), the prices of cigarettes have witnessed a significant increase in response to the hike in excise duty.
The price adjustments are categorized into four tiers, impacting consumers differently.
Effective immediately, the revised prices for cigarettes are set at Rs. 5, Rs. 15, Rs. 20, and Rs. 25, respectively. This price increase reflects the implementation of the elevated excise duty, which has prompted adjustments in the cigarette market.
