The first two shipments of a 74 million US dollar grant of rice will reach the Sri Lanka June 25 and June 30 Chinese Embassy of Sri Lanka announced today .
Chinese Yuan 500 million worth of stock will sent the rice through six shipments, the embassy said in a twitter message.
According to the Embassy, of the stock around 10,000 metric tonnes will be used for a School Meals program for needy kids.
