The Norwegian police have revealed information about the Tamil resident of Jaffna who was burned to death in a car in the state of Norway.
A group of Norwegian police officers who went to the scene of the incident found a half-burnt ID card while examining the body parts of the deceased.
According to the information, the deceased has been identified as Arasarathnam Dushyanthan, a father of two residing in Jaffna.
The deceased had gone to Norway for work 6 years ago and his wife and two children were taken from Jaffna to Norway and faced this tragedy while living there.
It is not yet known whether the death was a suicide or a murder or an accident. Norwegian police are investigating the incident.
