A person was shot dead in Boragodawatta, Minuwangoda last night police said.
He was shot while riding on a motorcycle,
A man who was hiding at Ruwan Mawatha Junction at Boraodawatta had opened fire at the victim, who was riding on a motorcycle and fled, Police said.
The victim as identified as a resident of Andiambalama.
Investigations are underway to arrest the suspect and find the reason for the shooting
