Sri Lankan Customs nabbed 16 kilograms of heroin which had been secretly hidden in a potato container brought to Sri Lanka from Pakistan early hours of today (22), Customs sources said. The value of this stock is believed to be over 500 million rupees and the container has been inspected based on a tip-off.
16 KGs of Heroin was hidden in the refrigerator of the container and one person from the importing company was also arrested by Customs. According to customs sources, further investigations have already started.
