BIMT launches Management Skills Development Programme with the collaboration of Chartered Management Institute of the UK

BIMT Campus recently launched its Management Skills Development Programme with the collaboration of the Chartered Management Institute of the UK. This program aims to systematically enhance the capabilities and effectiveness of individuals in leadership and managerial roles. It equips participants with a broad perspective of their role in a developing economy, preparing them to maximize their impact in business, finance, industry, and commerce.

“It was a milestone achieved with the BIMT Campus where the future students will be benefited. I am delighted to announce the collaboration with BIMT since they thrive to be a prominent educational provider in Sri Lanka. With the collaboration, students will benefit from acquiring a world-class degree program where they have a very practical approach. Also, I should mention that the panel of well-experienced lecturers, classrooms, and industry internship program of BIMT Campus is remarkable.” The Chief Guest Mr. Mr. Zain Munir (Head of International, CMI UK Representative) stated.

As per our vision, to be leaders in originating intellectuals who are immensely competent to face the global challenges and this nature of collaborations will sure that the students will be benefited.” The CEO of BIMT Campus, Mr. Farshath Jamal stated.

The occasion was also graced by Ms. Khamya Perera (Current President of CMI Sri Lanka) who spoke about the importance of corporate leadership to elevate Sri Lankan economy, industry veterans of the caliber of Mr. Ravi Jayawardena (Group CEO of Maliban Biscuits Manufactories Pvt Ltd) where he touched on the role of a corporate leader in the manufacturing industry, and in line to the CMI UK leadership program by Dr. Tharindu Atapattu  (Director / Chief Executive Officer, Swisstek Aluminum Ltd, Lanka Swisstek Pvt Ltd).
