Second LPL will come on mid November

The Lanka Premier League 2021 Cricket tournament, which is expected to start on July 29th is scheduled to be held from November 19th to December 12th this year according to the organizers.

The organizing committee of the Ceylon Premier League has stated that the rescheduling  the tournament will give an opportunity to players from leading cricketing countries to participate in the league.

It is reported that Sri Lanka Cricket has taken this decision after  studying  similar Premier League tournament and several international tours are planned in August 2021, the time when LPL 2 is expected to be played.

It is reported that the tournament sponsors have also fully agreed to this decision.
