Royal and Thomas Great Cricket match in Hambantota in a Bio bubble

The annual Big Match between Royal College, Colombo and St. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia will be held in September under the auspices of the Director-General of Health Services. The Organizing Committee has requested permission to hold the event on September 9, 10 and 11 and the permission has been granted accordingly.

Accordingly, the Director-General of Health Services has given other instructions to hold the match at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium, Sooriyawewa, Hambantota on those days.
Granting this permission, the Director-General of Health Services has stated that the organizers should take full responsibility for the health of the players and officials who accompany the competition, following all the guidelines regarding Covid.
