RAWALPINDI – Pathum Nissanka has officially become the highest run-scorer for Sri Lanka in T20 Internationals (T20Is). The opening batter achieved this historic milestone on Tuesday during a crucial match against Zimbabwe in the T20I Tri-series held in Pakistan.
Nissanka played a brilliant innings, scoring an unbeaten 98 runs off just 58 balls. His match-winning performance helped Sri Lanka secure a dominant nine-wicket victory over Zimbabwe. With this knock, Nissanka surpassed his teammate Kusal Perera, who previously held the record with 2,305 runs.
A Record-Breaking Innings
