Ayurveda doctor and Chairman of Vendol Lanka, Lelwala G. Godakanda said the so-called local cure for COVID19, made by an individual identified as Dhammika Bandara, is a complete fraud.
In an interview with a YouTube channel Godakanda said the medicine made by Bandara could even become poisonous due the ingredients used. According to Godakanda all those who used the medicine could have toxins in their bodies now as a result.
He pointed out that according to Ayurveda, bee honey is never heated as it can become poisonous. “The use of nutmeg is also problematic as it can become poisonous as well,” he added.
Godakanda blamed the Minister and the Commissioner of Ayurveda for the toxic medicine and described the entire process as a complete media show.
