The vote on a critical resolution against Sri Lanka at the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva has been postponed to Tuesday by the officials due to scheduling issues.
The vote on the draft resolution titled ‘Promotion of Reconciliation Accountability and Human Rights in Sri Lanka’ was to be taken today (Monday) .The 23 days long UNHRC sessions to be winded up on 23rd Tuesday and vote on resolution against Sri Lanka would be taken up on the final day the sources said.
