Two polices stations were told to search on Manusha Nanayakkara’s acts

Reliable information have received that Manusha Nanayakkara is being scrutinized by of two police stations following an order from some higher place, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa revealed today(21) . He further said that Ahangama and Habaraduwa Police stations were informed to search everything about MP Manusha after the parliamentary speech he made yesterday regarding malpractices of the Ministry of Public security.
Manusha Nanayakkara has stated in the Parliament yesterday (21) that according to the new project report for Traffic Control has mentions some high tech devices supposed to utilized in future. MP Manusha pointed out that some persons representing ministry’s advisory committee have direct links with these devices importing company call Sikuratek. According to the speech by MP Manusha there have been some discussions between two parties and it has been proposed to charge 83 million rupees as a rent out of 4.7 Billion, an estimated profit will be made from traffic fines to the Police. He further stated that he will table this information in Parliament and will take steps to inform the President.
However, in response, the Minister of Public Security, Admiral Sarath Weerasekara, said that should not speak under the guise of privilege and that he would file a lawsuit seeking compensation if the allegation was made outside Parliament.
