Former Public Security Minister Tiran Alles received several death threats yesterday (05) through phone calls made by an underworld leader based in Dubai.
It is reported that these threats were made in response to statements by Mr. Tiran Alles during his tenure as Public Security Minister, in which he emphasised the need to bring back all underworld leaders and members who had fled the country.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has informed all special police units about the incident, and an investigation into the death threats has been launched under his directives.
