Jaffna police arrested three people in connection with an incident of glass bottle attack on the office of the Deputy Consul General of India in Jaffna Yesterday (10).
The arrest was taken following a n information received by the Jaffna Police and it was revealed that on the night of 9th and the three youths in a car passing in front of the office which was facing Kaithadi Road , attacked with a glass bottle.
Accordingly, the police arrested the three and the car they were traveling in and are conducting investigations.
Due to this attack, a few glasses of the Consul General’s office were slightly damaged and the Jaffna Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
