The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised the Sri Lankans staying in Sudan to report to the Saudi Arabian Government Operations Room in Port Sudan.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabri pointed out that the Saudi Arabian government has set up an operation room in a well-secured hotel in the city of Port Sudan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs says that arrangements have been made to provide an opportunity for Sri Lankans staying in Sudan to arrive at the said place and subsequently leave Sudan.
This arrangement has enabled the evacuation of 13 Sri Lankans who were staying in Sudan yesterday (26).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that all necessary arrangements have been made for the safe evacuation of all Sri Lankans staying in Sudan.
