A driver who had been waiting in line for two days for diesel has fallen and died in Dankotuwa,Police said. According to the Police the victim was a driver of a bus transporting garment factory workers .
The deceased has been identified as Chaminda Pushpakumara, 47, a resident of Gonawila, Pannala.
The incident took place at a fuel queue in the Dankotuwa area, according to the Dankotuwa Police.
The postmortem examination of the body is currently being conducted at the Marawila Base Hospital morgue, police said.
