Task force headed by Namal to search on state officials failing Gama Samaga Pilisandara

State officials those who failed or deliberately delaying the implementation of the decisions taken during President Gotabatya Rajapaksa’s Gama Samaga Pilisandara (Dlialogue with the Village” program will be reported to the Presidential secretary according to extra ordinary gazette notification issued recently. The Gazzette notification issued 09th April 19, 2021 as a Presidential Order regarding the appointment of this Special Task Force and their functions and power has instructed to the task force led by Minister Namal Rajapaksa to report such officials.
The Secretary to the President has stated that this task force comprising of 16 members headed by Minister Namal Rajapaksa is a mandatory task and that the reason for this is that some officials are deliberately neglecting to implement the solutions given by the President to the issues of the people during this program. The decision was taken at a high level meeting of government officials held at the Presidential Secretariat recently.
Minister Namal Rajapaksa, State Ministers Nimal Lansa, Dilum Amunugama, Kanchana Wijesekera, Dr Seetha Arambepola, Prof. Channa Jayasumana, MPs Cader Mastan, Kapila Athukorala, Sanjeewa Edirimanne, Nipuna Ranawaka, Chamara Sampath Dasanayake, Tiran Alles, Amal Mayadunn, Sivanesathurei Chandrakanthan and Jayantha Weerasinghe, represent the Presidential Task Force. Mrs. Chandima Wickramasinghe, Additional Secretary to the President, has been appointed by the Secretary to the President to monitor the Gama Samaga Pilisandara program.
