Senior Superintendent of Police Romesh Liyanage attached the Special Task Force has been interdicted over the assault of six journalists in front of Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe’s private residence on the 9th evening.
The action has been carried out under the instructions of IGP sources said. The interdicted SSP who was in charge of the team deployed at the place was alleged that he was the key person behind the brutal attack on six journalists attached to Sirasa.
