Friends and colleagues of Sri Lankan doctor Dr. Malinda Dissanayake who died in london recently after suffering from multiple organ failure due to Covid said the doctor had not received the Covid vaccine despite media reports to the fact. They said the doctor did not die of Covid despite getting the vaccine because he had never received the vaccine.

“We ask media outlets to correct this inaccuracy due to grave implications of misinformation of this nature” they said.

He was 51 years old at the time of death and had been treated at the North Middlesex Hospital, the same hospital where he worked as a doctor when he succumbed to Covid.
