Sri Lanka’s children should not be vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna

Professor Thissa Vitarana, Member of Parliament for Virology, says that he does not believe that our children should not be vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine or the Moderna vaccine even if US administered to American children. He pointed out that these two vaccines are a genetically modified and that method has not been used in the past.

Although it usually takes about seven years to complete a clinical trials to properly study a vaccine, it is not yet two years since the vaccine was developed, so it is my personal opinion that there is not enough time for a proper study and the genetic changes that can occur in our bodies. We do not consider it necessary to comment on such fabrications. In an interview with journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrema, he said that he believes that it is appropriate to give children vaccines such as AstraZeneca, Sputnik V or Sinopharm, which are induced using the virus.

“However, before giving any vaccine collectively, we need to examine the vaccination among children in different communities. This vaccine can be given to children over 5 years of age and not 12 years of age.
Children should be fully vaccinated after a thorough examination. If children are sent to school, they will not be vaccinated and if one person comes, it will spread to everyone. They are insecure.

However, since the Pfizer Moderna was made in the United States, it is offered there. These are vaccines are mRNA vaccines. This vaccine has not been used in the past. If genes are introduced into our body, these genes will mix with our genes separately. I don’t know what kind of changes will happen. But like Sinopharm, AstraZeneca, Sputnik is made using a virus. It is a technology that we have already established.
According to science, right and wrong have happened.

Keep in mind that these vaccine companies are profitable businesses. The drug business is second only to the arms business. If the vaccines made by these companies are used for our children in our country, proper research should be done and appropriate steps should be taken to give them to children.
