Social activist Pathum Karner, who was a key activist in the Galle Face protests , has been arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division.
Pathum Kerner, who is a doctor was accused of leading the protest at Polduwa intersection near the Parliament entrance on the 13th,July breaking down the road barriers and participating in the riots.
On the 18th, he was summoned to the Colombo Crime Division, but he sent a letter through a lawyer to inform that he was ill.
Today he was arrested after appearing at the Colombo Crime Division ,this morning
