SL Winner of South Indian TV Music Program, Receives Grand Welcome in Jaffna

Kilmisa Udayashilan, the talented individual who clinched the top spot in a South Indian TV children’s reality music program called “Sarigamapa,” arrived at Jaffna International Airport from India today (28) afternoon. The entire airport was abuzz with excitement as a large crowd gathered to extend a warm welcome to the accomplished artist.

A grand procession was organized to accompany Kilmisa Udayashilan through the city of Jaffna. The enthusiastic crowd, including her parents, relatives, and numerous participants, eagerly awaited her arrival. The procession moved through Jaffna, allowing people to catch a glimpse of the young artist who had brought honor to the region.

Kilmisa Udayashilan, having participated in the “Sarigamapa” program, showcased her musical prowess by rendering various songs with exceptional talent. She secured the first position in the competition, earning accolades not only in South India but also in Sri Lanka.

The vibrant young artist, who has now become a source of pride for Jaffna, was felicitated with a grand reception, marking her return to her homeland. The community celebrated her achievements, acknowledging her remarkable journey in the music industry.
