Sri Lanka Cricket has officially unveiled the Sri Lanka World Cup squad, which notably excludes Vanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chamira.
Despite the disappointing loss in the Asia Cup series finals, Dasun Shanaka will retain the captaincy.
Both Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chamira, who suffered injuries during the LPL tournament, have been excluded from the World Cup team.
In place of Vanindu Saranga, Dushan Hemanth has been named in the team. Additionally, Chamika Karunaratne has been included as an additional player who will travel with the team to India.
The Sri Lankan team is set to depart for India today (26) as they prepare for the upcoming tournament.
