Police say they will strictly enforce the law against individuals who disregard orders to submit themselves to PCR testing. Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that steps will be taken to seal the houses of such persons.
Meanwhile, the police spokesman said that investigations are underway regarding a group of people who had expressed their views on social media asking people not to submit themselves to PCR testing.
In the past 24 hours, 52 people have been arrested for not wearing face masks and not maintaining social distance.
