The Business community of Maradagahamula, Gampaha and Veyangoda have decided to close their shops for a week from tomorrow (15).
Traders Associations of these towns say the move comes as the health sector seeks to control the country’s rampant Covid pandemic. They also say that the decision was taken to contribute to the struggle being waged by the health sector as citizens due to the unexpected increase in the number of deaths and infections in the country on a daily basis.
