Addressing to the President Bhathiya and Santush , the popular singing duo request listen to the voice of the people and do what is right for the country at this critical juncture.
They made a note on their official Facebook page as follows
“Dear president, listen to the voice of the country, we supported you for a better Sri Lanka, we are truly sad and devastated to see the plight of this nation. Sri Lanka deserves better.
Sri Lankans are voicing their hearts out for thier future, for their children.
Suppression of people will not be the answer, using Force will not be the answer, enforcement of Emmergency law and curfew will not be the answer, creating a social media ban will not be the answer.
Sri Lanka needs a propper solution, a truthful solution that will bring back the hopes and dreams of this nation. We have always been for the people of this country, and we stand with the people of this country.
Listen to the voice of the people.
Do what is right for the country.
