Even though the United National Party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe became the President,it has not been able to appoint any person related to the UNP to any position in the government corporations and government institutions without an approval of Mahinda Rajapaksa and it has created an internal crisis, sources disclosed to Lankasara.
According to the internal sources of the ruling party, the executive president of the country is under so much pressure that he cannot remove or appoint a head of a corporation in the way he wants.
Sources related to the President say that in this situation, the President’s administrative plan has also come under a crisis.
