Russia to gift its Sputnik Covid vaccine first batch

Russia to gift its Sputnik V Vaccine’s first batch to Sri Lanka, Senior advisor to the president and special coordinator for Covid 19 vaccines Mr.Lalith Weeratunga said.

According to him Sri Lanka Ambassador of Russia had spoken to him expressed their willing to provide the first batch of the Sputnik V vaccine as a gift.

Since this Vaccine has been approved by the National Medicinal National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) the first stock would arrive to the island soon.
