Ranyan Industries (Private) Limited’s ‘Amami’ brand clinched the prestigious Best Hotel Services Provider Award at the recent Lanka Business Awards 2023, hosted by the Business World International Organization (BWIO).The award ceremony, held at the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo, saw the board of directors, led by company founder Ranil de Silva, accepting the accolade.

Under its Amami Brand (www.hotelsupplies.lk), Ranyan Industries has pioneered the manufacturing and supply of a comprehensive Amenity Kit tailored for the leisure tourist hotel sector in Sri Lanka. The brand has diversified its product range to include a variety of Ayurvedic and natural herbal products such as air fresheners, shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, glycerin soap, fragrance bars, detergents, and cleaning materials.

Despite facing numerous challenges, Ranyan Industries has achieved significant milestones, positioning itself as a sought-after brand in the tourist industry. The Amami product range, known for its refined natural ingredients, boasts international accreditation such as SLS, ISO, and GMP. The brand caters to a diverse clientele, including Jetwing, Ramada, Galle Face, Anantaya, and more. All products are manufactured using locally sourced raw materials, contributing to the employment of over 60 skilled and unskilled individuals at the company’s fully-fledged factory in Kadawatha.

Upon receiving the award, Ranil de Silva expressed his pride and joy, emphasizing the affirmation that hard work and dedication lead to success. As he takes a back seat in the business, he entrusts the future of the company to his daughter Harshala and son Ranuka. He acknowledged the constant support of his wife, Dr. Priyani De Silva, and extended gratitude to the dedicated staff, loyal customers, and Revo Advertising for contributing to the growth and achievements of Ranyan Industries and the Amami brand.
