The Rameswaram Fishermen’s Association has sent a letter to the Sri Lankan Navy and the Government yesterday (01) paying their gratitude for rescuing a group of fishermen who stranded on the sea. The Navy has rescued them and repaired their boat while the fishermen from the Rameswaram area were stranded due to a defect in the boat.
As the engine of a boat of six fishermen who had departed from Rameswaran Sekar Pandian Harbor has failed. The Navy has come across them while rescued them while the boat was floating towards Thalai Mannar with the fishermen.
