Rajitha crosses ceremoniously while Sanath Nishantha’s successor joins Ranil

Kalutara District Member of Parliament Dr. Rajitha Senaratne of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya Party said that they will provide unconditional support to confirm the victory of President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the upcoming presidential election.

Rajitha Senaratne supported the President by signing an official statement today (13) at Hunupitiya Gangarama Viharaya.

Rajitha Senaratne pointed out that President Ranil Wickramasinghe eliminated poverty in this country in the last few years and created an environment where people could live happily, and his country-building program has been praised internationally.

Rajitha Senaratne, who entered politics representing the left camp, said that he had made politically important decisions every time for the sake of the people of this country.

Rajitha Senaratne said that he will continue to dedicate himself to building a safe country for future generations and give unconditional support to make President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s victory a victory.

The Maha Sangha led by Rev. Murutthettuwe Ananda Thera. Minister Mahinda Amaraweera, Member of Parliament Wajira Abeywardena, Chief of Staff to the President and Senior Advisor to the President on National Security Sagala Ratnayake, former Ministers Manusha Nanayakkara, Ravi Karunanayake, former Member of Parliament Chatura Senaratne and a group of political representatives also attended the event.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Puttalam District Member of Parliament Jagath Priyankara, who was the successor to late MP Sanath Nishantha also joined today (13) to confirm the victory of President Ranil Wickramasinghe.

Jagath Priyankara also pointed out that this country can only be moved forward through the economic and political program initiated by the President and declared that he will give his full support to that program for the sake of the country.
