A broad political alliance is in the offing to defeat the government says Professor Charitha Herath.
Parliamentarian and SLPP member Professor Charitha Herath says that a broad political alliance based on Samagi Jana Balawegaya, which is the main political outfit in the current opposition, will be built and address the presidential election campaign or the general election based on it.
He says that he will gather the forces of the opposition in the country, form a broad alliance, and defeat this government.
The MP said that politics is determined not by who we are with or with whom we are not, but by how forces work.
Professor Charitha Herath said that there are 13 people in his MP group, and some of them are having discussions with the SLPP.
“Ranil Wickramasinghe is only one person. The ratio is thirteen to one compared to Ranil Wickremesinghe. “Politics is decided by the way forces work,” he further said.
