The police spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said that seven more persons were arrested this morning for violating traffic laws after conducting an aerial survey of the isolated Modara area.
The Police commenced aerial surveys of the isolated areas in Colombo yesterday with the assistance of drones and Air force helicopters after it was observed that the public were not adhering to guidelines imposed to stop the spread of Covid 19. 15 people were arrested yesterday (12) following such a survey.
