One body of 14 year old girl of three girls who went missing at Kumari Ella in Hanwella has been found last night, Police said. Three girls including two sisters of the same family from Jaffna had gone missing while bathing in the Kumari Ella in Thummodara, Hanwella yesterday.
According to the police they have gone to see the fall after visiting their relative’s house in Wattala.
The girls aged 14, 15 and 29 were swept away by the rising tide while bathing.
Search operations are underway to locate the missing two girls, police said.
