The newly appointed Inspector General of Police, Deshbandu T.M.W.D. Thennakoon , met with President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Office, today (29) morning.
Following his assumption of office as the 36th Inspector General of Sri Lanka, Deshbandu Tennakoon had the opportunity to meet with President Wickremesinghe. During the meeting, President Wickremesinghe extended his congratulations to the new Inspector General of Police and engaged in a friendly conversation with him.
As a gesture of respect and tradition, the new Inspector General of Police presented President Wickremesinghe with a traditional gift.
