DIG Ajith Rohana stated that nearly 122,000 people from 40,000 families are currently undergoing home quarantine. He also emphasized that action would be taken under the quarantine law to find out who violated the quarantine laws.

The DIG said that he had received information that those in-home quarantines were moving out of the house even though they have been directed to stay inside the house.
