Mudalige and Ven Galwewa Siridhamma get bail : But Wasantha will be in remand further

Convener of the Inter-University Student’s Federation Wasantha Mudalige, and convener of the Inter-University Bhikku Federation. Venerable Galwewa Siridhamma Thero were released on bail by the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court on Today (6).

They were  released on two personal bails of Rs. 100,000/- each .However Wasantha Mudalige will remain in remand custody until the 12th of December, pending a separate case against him.

Wasantha Mudalige, and Venerable Galwewa Siridhamma Thero were detained under the Prevention of Terrorism Act for 90-days and were later remanded by the court.

A  group of layers led by President’s Counsel Saliya Peiris  appeared on behalf of  Wasantha Mudalige, and Venerable Galwewa Siridhamma Thero.
