Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi will give reasons for the removal of the Medical Research Institute (MRI) chief Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara according to Minister of Mass Media Keheliya Rambukwella.
The sudden removal of the MRI Cheif has created a stir on social media following the discovery of a new Covid 19 cluster. According to Rambukwella the reasons given by the Minister will be released to the media. Rambukwella stated this in response to questions posed by the media at the Cabinet media briefing held today (06). He also claimed that political influence did not play a part in the transfer of the MRI chief.
