Namal Rajapaksa, Minister of Youth and Sports, Minister of Development Coordination and Monitoring and Minister of State for Digital Technology and Enterprise Development, has resigned from his all portfolios.
It is reported that he announced his decision at the cabinet meeting held tonight.
The Prime Minister was said to be resigning today. With his decision to resign, the entire cabinet was to be dissolved.
According to internal sources, Mahinda Rajapaksa will be sworn in as the new Prime Minister after appointing a new cabinet tomorrow.
