Minister Kanchana shows red cards at 121 fuel stations!

121 Fuel stations have not placed any orders between 27th-31st May & many other fuel stations have not placed adequate orders to maintain minimum stocks Power & Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara said.

In a Twitter message, he further said that the CPC fuel stations are required to maintain a minimum stock of 50%. Licenses of Fuel stations that have violated the conditions of their contracts will be terminated after review.

“CPC & LIOC are continuing to distribute fuel islandwide & there will be sufficient fuel stocks available in all Fuel stations by Sunday. CPC is also reviewing data on fuel orders placed & stocks maintained at all fuel stations in the past week.”
