Luxury Bus Catches Fire Near Beliatta Interchange on Southern Expressway

Videos capturing a luxury passenger bus near Beliatta Interchange on the Southern Expressway, which unexpectedly caught fire have been released. The incident involved a bus traveling from Badulla to Colombo.

Fortunately, the police reported that none of the passengers sustained injuries in the fire. Authorities were able to successfully evacuate all passengers from the bus before the fire rapidly engulfed and destroyed it. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
