The Ministry of Labor and Foreign Employment says that 5,800 Korean job seekers will be sent to Korea from next week and that steps will be taken to sent all of them within six months.
Director of the Korean Human Resources Department and the Resident Representative in Sri Lanka has assured that 5,800 qualified workers for employment within the next six month during a discussion between Manusha Nanayakkara, Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment.
Accordingly, from next week, one flight per week will carry 200 Sri Lankan workers to Korea.
After that it will be increased to two flights a week. Minister Manusha Nanayakkara called for more Korean job opportunities for Sri Lanka, which was well received by the Sri Lankan Resident Representative of the Korean Human Resources Department.
