King Charles is recuperating at home after commencing out-patient cancer treatment on Monday (05), according to recent reports. His younger son, Prince Harry, has made the journey from his residence in California to be with his father in London during this time.

Buckingham Palace disclosed that the cancer diagnosis arose during the King’s recent medical attention for a benign enlarged prostate. However, details regarding the specific type of cancer remain undisclosed by the Palace.

As a consequence of the diagnosis, the monarch has deferred his public duties but will persist in fulfilling state responsibilities and maintain weekly meetings with the prime minister. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak conveyed his gratitude that the illness was detected at an early stage and assures that he maintains regular communication with the King.

The news of King Charles’s diagnosis has prompted an outpouring of support and concern from both within the United Kingdom and internationally. Citizens and leaders alike extend their well wishes for his swift recovery during this challenging time.
