Patabendige Don Chithrani Wijeweera, the sister of JVP founder Rohana Wijeweera, passed away this morning (26th April).
Born on 6th May 1948 in Kottagoda, she was residing in Tangalle at the time of her death.
Her body has been placed at No. 208, Muthumala Mawatha, Pallikkudawa, Tangalle. The final rites are scheduled to be performed on the evening of 28th April, in the presence of family members and JVP leaders.
