Prominent journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrama has once again been summoned to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for questioning in relation to a statement that was circulated on his Truth with Chamuditha YouTube channel.
This latest summons follows a previous visit to the CID where he was questioned regarding a statement made by an individual about a land deal associated with the Prime Minister, which was featured in a program on his YouTube channel.
Samarawickrama spent nearly three hours at the CID having his statements recorded as part of the ongoing investigation.
