The leader of the Ilankei Tamil Arusu Kachchi Party and the Kilinochchi District Member of Parliament of the Tamil National Alliance S.Sridharan said that a group of armed men had been traveling around Sridharan’s house and the surrounding area on motorcycles at at at night.
The MP also claimed that he has CCTV camera footage of these people covering their faces and heads with masks and helmets.

Sridharan further says there is no point in complaining to the police about this. After making a similar complaint once, the MP described how around 200 members of the security forces raided his house and searched the house.
Although he did not complain to the police, he sent a letter to the Speaker of the Sri Lanka Parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena stating that there was a threat to his life and his insecurity.
In response to a question raised by a journalist, he said that these days he was very busy due to a foreign trip and the death of the leader of the Tamil National Alliance, so he could not look into it again.
After returning to Kilinochchi very soon, if this group haunting the night is still there, Sridharan said that they would take steps to capture them with the help of their security officers and villagers.
The MP said that 9 people on five motorbikes had been traveling on the road around his house and in front of the gate several times during the night and said that they might be a group of spies.
