The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested four suspected ISIS terrorists reportedly from Sri Lanka, at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad.
According to Indian media reports the four suspects have been taken to an undisclosed location for further questioning.
However, the motive behind their presence at the Ahmedabad airport is not clear.
Following the incident, security has been heightened across the airport.
The suspects were arrested ahead of the arrival of three IPL teams at the Ahmedabad airport for the qualifier and eliminator games.
