The woman who purported to be Dwaraka Prabhakaran, the daughter of the former leader of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), Velupillai Prabhakaran, in the AI generated video has been exposed as an imposter. The elaborate ruse unfolded on Mahaviru Day, as she addressed the Tamil people on multiple television channels, claiming to be the LTTE leader’s daughter.

The imposter, identified as Rajaratnam Mittuya, was allegedly hired by the Tamil Diaspora according to recent disclosures by intelligence agencies. The motive behind this deception remains unclear, but the impact on the Tamil community has been significant.

Rajaratnam Mittuya, assumed the identity of the real Dwaraka Prabhakaran, and delivered a speech that misled the public. The imposter’s travels, license details, and other personal information were reportedly investigated by intelligence officers, leading to the exposure of this charade.

A video clip of the imposter’s television appearance has circulated widely, revealing her attempts to pass herself off as Dwaraka Prabhakaran. The footage shows her addressing the Tamil people, claiming to be the daughter of Velupillai Prabhakaran and expressing gratitude for the opportunity to speak.

The imposter’s actions have raised questions about the intentions behind this elaborate hoax. It is suggested that the fake Dwaraka Prabhakaran was strategically positioned to influence public sentiment, possibly as part of a broader agenda.

Rajaratnam Mittuya, was seen walking along a street in Europe in the aftermath of the televised deception.

The imposter’s actions have not only undermined the trust of the Tamil people but have also stirred a disturbance within the community. The use of artificial intelligence in creating this deceptive presentation adds a layer of complexity to the story. Technical interventions, including the manipulation of images and videos, have been suggested, pointing to a carefully orchestrated attempt to deceive the public.

As the investigation into this impersonation scandal continues, there is a pressing need for clarity on the motives behind such a elaborate ruse.
