Group of MPs led by Dullas visit Anuradhapura today!

The group of 14 members of Parliament who voted for Dullas Alahapperuma in the election of the President in the Parliament visited Anuradhapura today and paid homage to Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi and received blessings.

This group had come from Colombo to Anuradhapura by a bus.

Addressing the media, the former President of Podujana Peramuna G.L. said that he is ready to take some important decisions for the country and came with the desire to start the journey from Anuradhapura. Peiris had addressed the media and announced.

At present, one of the two alliances that are being formed aiming to advance in the political field is representing the group including Dullas Alahappareuma.

Basil Rajapaksa and Ranil Wickremesinghe had been planning their political alliance for a few days and it was reported yesterday that 07 minor parties have joined with the group of MPs who voted for Ranil Wickremesinghe in the presidential election, a group of MPs from the Samagi Jana Balavega and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.

It is reported that the Tamil National Alliance has also expressed its interest in the alliance to be formed with Basil Ranil. It is learned that Jeevan Thondaman’s Labor Congress is also ready to join it sources said.
